The Old Town North Community Partnership is an organization comprised of residents, small, local businesses and employees working to create a vital, vibrant community within Old Town North.
We provide information to the community about events affecting the neighborhood through our website, e-newsletter and social media. In past years we have worked with the City of Alexandria on improvements to Montgomery Park and sponsored the Annual Taste of Old Town North and Dogtoberfest A Celebration of all things Dog…And Cat!.
What’s New at the Old Town North Farmers’ and Artisans’ Markets
The Northern Neck returns to the Sunday Market! We are delighted to welcome farmer Jose Montoya back to the market this Sunday, April 19th, bringing local produce, fresh herbs, and other plants for your garden or window boxes. Make sure to pick up some composted enriched soil for your garden. Cheeses and other specialty items from our Pennsylvania farmers will be available at the Community Table.
- The Thursday Market, we hope to reopen in April. We may have pushed the date back to early May, given new construction updates from Carr Companies. We will keep everyone posted. Ideally, the Soft Open will still be on April 23rd, and the Grand Opening will be on April 30th.
