FEATURED VENDOR
Common Hearth

We are a home-based bakery in Alexandria, VA founded by a woman who’s always had a passion for feeding people. Years of living in Paris and savoring baguettes instilled a love of baking.

Why “Common Hearth”? Long, long ago, small villages and communities would share a common wood-fired oven where the women would bake bread daily. In some countries there are villages still doing the same. When a family was in need of help, their neighbors would share their bread and resources. Sharing is the concept behind our business.

Our mission is to make and sell delicious baked goods so we can bake and donate bread to local organizations serving people in need.

Our vision is baking for good. Because everyone deserves delicious!
