The Thursday Market is once again closed because of disruption from construction at 425 Montgomery. We hope to reopen the Thursday Market in the Spring.
Medication Take Back Day with the Alexandria Sheriff’s Department
Bring all your old medications to the Farmer’s Market from 9:00 am-12:00 pm to be safely disposed of by the Alexandria Sheriff’s Department. One of the annual events supported by HRP Group and the Old Town North Community Partnership.

Government Shutdown
>> >> Our understanding is that any remaining benefits in SNAP accounts issued before October 31st are still valid. We will continue to monitor the situation and inform our SNAP clients as we learn more.

Several of our Old Town North Community Partnership business members are supporting this effort, including River’s Edge Yoga, Royal Restaurant, and Wellness Bliss.
Both the Old Town North Community Partnership and Visit Alexandria will update their pages daily as more local businesses and agencies join the effort to support federal employees affected by the government shutdown.
