IMPORTANT UPDATE
We can’t wait to see everyone at the OTNCP Holiday Market on Sunday, December 14th, 2025, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
- The Thursday Market is once again closed due to construction at 425 Montgomery. We hope to reopen the Thursday Market in the Spring.
- Sunday Market Hours: 9:00 am-1:30 pm
- Compost drop-off is from 9:00 am-1:00 pm
The Old Town North Market continues to welcome new and returning vendors! We are also delighted to welcome guest artisans and pop-up vendors.
As we head into the Winter Season, we will have a limited amount of fresh produce from Pennsylvania Farmer David Argento of Papa’s Produce. “”Bringing the best of PA to VA”. Northern Neck Farmer Ignacio Valencia returns in the Spring.
Montgomery Park Music Series

- Art Hildebrand kicked off the first of the Music in Montgomery Park Series on Sunday, September 21st, the Autumnal Equinox! The Music in Montgomery Park Series is part of the Annual Event Season sponsored by HRP. Music programming is made possible by the generous support of Burke and Herbert Bank

Art Hildebrand
Art Hildebrand has played guitar at private parties, restaurants, and coffee houses in the DC area. He plays a wide-ranging mix of instrumental finger style and vocal numbers, encompassing jazz, blues, rockabilly, and country.
He also regularly performs with the Back Alley Blues Boys, a guitar duo that plays blues and American roots music.

Jerry's All Natural Mixtures
If you’re like me, you’re probably wondering how I ended up selling body butters. Especially since my first career was in IT for 30 years. Well, this all started back in November 2018 when I was sitting in a coworker’s office talking about dry and cracked feet. I went home that night and decided to do something with the shea butter, vitamin E oil, beeswax, and coconut oil I had sitting around. Melted them all together, and filled up half cup mason jars and let it cool. I affectionately named it “the decrustifier” because it made my feet wonderfully smooth and soft. After confirming that it worked (that took 3 days) I shared it with my coworker. She used it and loved it. She suggested that I sell these in my retirement that was fast approaching. I gave her another jar for her birthday and she was so happy she actually jumped up and down. That told me I was on to something. For Christmas 2019, I gave my sister coca butter body butter (2 x 8oz) and shea butter body butter (2 x 4oz). She opened it at 12:05am on Christmas day. We all went to bed and later that day we had the following conversation:
sister: How’d you make your body butter?
me: I just mixed the butter with sweet almond oil and beeswax
sister: I make it as well but I’d never think to add beeswax. Mine is soft in the summer time but not so much in the winter time. You should sell these now that you’re retired.
Around that same time I started researching what I’d need if I actually wanted to start the business. I spoke to my friends about my formula and learned that beeswax might clog pores (I’ve since learned that it does not). So I removed that from my recipe. Also learned that heating the shea, mango, and cocoa butters changes them ever so slightly so I took that out of the recipe too.
